The Sabiá was the first piece to be created by Açude. It is inspired by the fruit of the sabiá plant, characterised by its asymmetric curves. The shape is straight-cut, with curved colourful streaks adding an interesting contrast to the piece. The piece features a round neck, side slits and a square-cut open back with a zip closure. The piece is lined by the same fabric as the exterior. It is perfect for day-to-night this summer.

About the Brand
Açude was born in the small town of Juazeiro do Norte, in the northeast of Brazil. The brand's identity is strongly rooted in its hometown, and the designs are inspired by the nature and culture of the region. Each collection draws on a different theme, such as the nature of the Nordeste (the northeast of Brazil), their religious practices (deeply influenced by a number of different religions and deities), and the local festivals from the region. Beyond culture, Açude champions quality, fair labour and the circular economy. They use upcycled and natural fabrics, as well as promoting a fair supply chain.
