The top is inspired by the Palma cactus, and has petals that remind us of its shape. The piece is made in a gorgeous linen blend, with contrasting colour stitches. There is a button back closure, and the overall shape is loose and slightly boxy. It is a piece that can be worn both to formal or more laid-back occasions. There is a matching pair of trousers, the Araripe.

About the Brand
Açude was born in the small town of Juazeiro do Norte, in the northeast of Brazil. The brand's identity is strongly rooted in its hometown, and the designs are inspired by the nature and culture of the region. Each collection draws on a different theme, such as the nature of the Nordeste (the northeast of Brazil), their religious practices (deeply influenced by a number of different religions and deities), and the local festivals from the region. Beyond culture, Açude champions quality, fair labour and the circular economy. They use upcycled and natural fabrics, as well as promoting a fair supply chain.
